Post Mortem Mojave Green

NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH
8

by

Jaye B.

Recently my iPad got hacked and 3/4 of my photos and videos are now gone. They are even gone from my iCloud back up and from another iPad. So I’ve had to dig through 11 K worth of old emails to find files and came across this completely forgotten about video. It’s not for the squeamish. The woman who brought the decapitated snake over to me was a camp neighbor in Craggy Wash in Arizona. I am usually against killing snakes and never have done so, but the Mojave green aka Crotalus scutulatus is highly venomous with both hemotoxic and neurotoxic properties.

Of course I interpreted her gift as an omen And sure enough it was. I’ll have to dig through some old Craggy Wash blog entries to find out what took place after the snake dance.
